So I launched the new website, which features quite a robust design. I did not optimize this site for low bandwidth, instead I opted to disobey bandwidth rules in an attempt to offer the viewer an unedited high resolution experience while visiting my site. Time will tell if I made the right decision. Considering that there are so many people who have broadband connections, at this point it may be that the site is only slightly ahead of its time. I also decided to give each individual page its own look and feel. I topped things offer with a feature flash based image gallery featuring an xml driven mp3 and image player that will allow the site to maintain a fresh look and feel for some period of time.
